I had the chance to do a small photoshoot this weekend, and decided that instead of choosing between Pansy and Romilda, I'd split the time and do both!

I think every new costume is for a group. I'm super excited because my friends are doing Richard and Jennsen costumes! That's why Kahlan got pushed up a year. I'm hoping I can convince someone to do Darken Rahl or Zedd, because that would make things even better.

I'm sick with "flu like symptoms" and dehydration according to the health center. Blah. i hate being sick and I feel like crap.

I have, however, discovered Legend of the Seeker... and I really like it. I'm on episode 4 on Hulu. I had heard some bad things about it, but I really like it. It's definitely my genre. although, I've already found 3 outfits in it I want to make -dies-. Even when sick I find things to make.

Since I already had the robes and everything finished, I decided that I was going to pick up on other minor characters to costume as when in groups that already had a Hermione.. so I decided to do a Romilda Vane costume for my application to the order of the dragon.

I don't have any shots of me in my robes with the wig yet, since this was a trial run, but I love my new Romilda wig and I personally think it's perfect for Movie Romilda!

anyways, I've already started on my D*C 2010 stuff... Mainly saffron, since I finished it last year at like 4 am thursday of con. Already I've got my new saffron wig (i cut it already, but it still needs to be curled) and I finished my shawl. It's not perfect, but I love it, and I did it in less than a week! Woo!

That was an amazing weekend, probably the best one all year!! i had so much fun, saw old friends and made new ones, and just had a general awesome time!!! I got loads of pictures.

I don't Think I'm missing any costumes.. hmm. I really wanted to do the white Rabbit Friday as well, but I forgot that I gave my mom my wig to put in her suitcase... stupid me. They get in friday afternoon.

Super excited for tomorrow!! Flight leaves at 2 pm, so I'll be in atlanta by 5:30!! Wooo! Will take lots of pictures!

Sorry I haven't posted in a bit. I had to take a trip to seattle and it threw me off a little. But I'm back, and rushing to get ready for D*C. The lathe broke after making two more wands, but the new one should be here today, so i'll have more to sell! Plus, i'm working to get all my costumes finished. i still have a bit to go on each of them, but It's getting there. Only Saffron is less than 50% right now, but it's all pinned.. i just need to sew it. I worked today on making a lot of my White rabbit. Ears finished, and the base of the skirt is done.

I got a new cell phone! finally! I got the LG enV touch, and I love it!!! So amazing. I still need to name it though.



Also, I'm turning some new wands that I'm going to be selling. I did one today, and I'll do a few more tomorrow. I haven't decided on prices yet, so that's still to come, but I'll be doing a sale post once I have this batch all ready.



Still needs a gloss coat, but I like how this one is turning out. I'll post better pictures in the sale post. ^.^

Awesome! Quidditch at UMD is getting even more coverage! Got contacted by NBC 4 today for an interview, our school newspaper wants to do one as well... I never thought quidditch would be the thing to get me interviewed all the time, but i guess it is!

My friend and I sat down and made the repoman helmet for our cast tonight (while our nathan watched funny things on youtube). For neither of us having done anything like this before, it came out amazingly. It's not totally done. I'm making the little surgical mask add on tomorrow, since our helmet's chin goes to far down (covers the mouth), and I want it to be accurate.

It was done of cardboard, a plastic embroidery hoop, a paintball mask, some left-over fabric from one of my Firefly costumes, tin-foil, and black paint.
